Since I can remember I have always felt a deep connection with animals. As a child, I only wanted to be outside in nature, with the animals. Soon I fell in love with horses. Especially the horses that were struggling.

When I got my first horse, I noticed that she was not like the horses I was used to ride. She was depressed and introverted, so she could react unpredictably when saddling and riding. I started by learnong more about groundwork and the behavior of horses.

In 2014 I decided to follow clinics and lessons (groundwork, riding young horses, rehabilitation, clicker training, academic riding, …) with different instructors and training stables to learn more about the behavior of horses. When I bought my second horse, I experimented with bitless riding and positive training. I discovered how much you can learn from each horse and not one horse is the same.

I graduated as a veterinary assistant. I took a job at an office and, next to that, I started teaching people who had problems in their relationship with their horses.

My herd expanded with 4 other horses and quickly I felt that my mind and my intuition came in conflict. Everything I learned sometimes didn’t feel good when I was helping horses. In that moment, I had the chance of following a clinic with Noora Enqhvist. Thanks to her and this experience, I started to work with horses like I always wanted and like I did when I was younger, from my heart and intuition.

After two years I started to loose my creativity and motivation at my office job. I was ready for the next step in my life and to do what I was meant to be doing. I changed my life, gave up my office job and became a full time horse instructor.

I noticed that I could help horses through training with certain problems, but I couldn’t always find out what was the cause. That is why I specialized in various treatment therapies such as Chinese Medicine, Acupressure, Reiki, Mihealth, …

My philosophy is that a horse always has a motivation for a certain behavior. This can be from pain to uncertainty or miscommunication with the trainer. My job is to help the horse release traumas or stress and help the trainer understand why a horse shows a certain behavior and how our body language and energy affects the horse. That is why we help horses on the 3 dimensions: Body, Mind & Soul.

MIND: Give the horse mental challenges without depleting him or bringing stress. We teach you to understand your horse, what they mean by their body language and behavior and how you can train with your horse in the moment.

BODY: Strengthen the horse physically without forcing it. Pushing a horse creates mental tension. A movement starts in the brain, not in the muscles. That is why it is so important not to bring the horse mentally into tension.

SOUL: To see the horse at its soul level, by helping him understand and release former stress or trauma.
